I am just seeing if anyone ever checks this place out.  I was quite surprised with the forum and website.  Whoever spearheaded this did an excellent job.  I would have went with Joomla and phpBB, though.

Thanks for stopping by the Orwigsburg Online site.  Thanks for the feedback and glad you like the site.  I just work on the site in my spare time (which I don't have a lot of lately) but I'm hoping people find it useful.

I haven't worked with Joomla but I'll check into it.  The original forum was based in phpBB but there were some major security issues a few years ago with phpBB and my hosting provider will no longer allow it to be installed on their servers.  I tried the SMF system and it seems to work fairly well for the amount of use the Message Board gets.
